Public Hearing and Public Comment Period for FDOT’s I-75 From North of Golden Gate Pkwy to South of Alico Road Improvements Project Announcement

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting a public hearing to discuss capacity improvements to I-75 in Collier and Lee counties to help address growing congestion and support the region’s long-term growth. The hearing is to express your views concerning auxiliary lane capacity improvements within the project. This hearing will not include noise wall information; it will be provided when available.

Participate in the hearing either in-person OR virtually.  Both events will include a presentation reviewing the proposed improvements followed by a verbal comment period.

In-Person: Tuesday, October 27, 2026 
Anytime between 4 – 4:30 p.m.: View project materials – “Open House”
4:30 p.m.: Formal presentation and verbal comment period

While comments about the project are accepted at any time, they must
be received or postmarked by Tuesday, November 10, 2026, to be
included in the formal hearing record.
