Every four years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) conduct a Certification Review of the Collier MPO (Bonita Springs TMA) transportation planning process as required by law. The purpose of the review is to evaluate Collier MPO’s compliance with Federal transportation rules and regulations.
The review is scheduled on-site at Collier MPO on July 23, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members of the public are welcome to observe the on-site review virtually. A link to register for virtual observation via Zoom is as follows: Collier MPO TMA Certification Review.
Additionally, part of the review includes an opportunity for the public to provide comments on how Collier MPO carries out the transportation planning process. Your comments will be submitted to Carlos A. Gonzalez, FHWA, and Brandon Oliver, FTA. Comments can be submitted during the public meeting, through the FHWA FL Division Website, by phone, or by email. You can provide comments from July 23, 2024, through August 22, 2024. Comments received by August 22 will be considered in the writing of the report.
