December’s meeting will be held off cycle on Thursday, December 11, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. to meet the federally required adoption deadline for the Collier MPO’s Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).
The LRTP is a federally required planning document that guides transportation projects and priorities throughout Collier County, including Naples, Marco Island, and Everglades City. Updated every five years, it ensures the County remains eligible for federal transportation funding while guiding investments that improve mobility, safety, access, and quality of life for residents and visitors. Developed in collaboration with Jacobs Engineering, this update will help identify future transportation needs and prioritize projects for the Transportation Improvement Program.
